I Work From my Garden... is what this client now gets to tell any one who asks. This work from homer complained that she disliked being stuck in the house all day but was generally depressed by the atmosphere in her back yard; which was primarily grass and gravel. Our goal was to design a more inspiring space for her to work.

"I want to feel like I am being swallowed up by plants." She told us in our consultation. "I want something funky and fun... I don't like things that are too perfect."

This perennial garden contains lots of texture and color for four seasons of interest. It also incorporates repurposed materials that give a rustic, off-kilter charm.  A path made of reclaimed bricks, pavers and scrap metal along with tumbled bluestone wraps through the the garden while a very unique concrete landing takes us from path to shed. This landing is inlaid with old tools, scrap metal and even a few special items belonging to the home owner.

The garden also offers cut flowers, fruit and and kitchen herbs.
